The pierogi, and anything Polish off the menu. These are the original family recipes.
Meet the owners
Stanley and Stella (Sroda) Kajfasz opened the Polish Nook in 1964, after running the Pelican Motel. Stan's parents and Stella came from the Kraków region of Poland, and Stella's cooking became famous with locals.
It started as a small neighborhood bar and eatery. Business grew so much that they added the back dining room. After Stanley passed away in 2000, the family took time to regroup. Today the third generation runs it, still cooking the same recipes as the day it opened, with a few American options too.
