⭐ What to order
Our recommendation
The cupcakes, homemade fresh every day. Get the banana, red velvet or German chocolate. Grab one (or a box) after a walk along the Lewiston waterfront.
Meet the owners
Mother and daughter Vicki and Tracy J. Marshall opened the Village Bake Shoppe in 1993. Tracy was an award-winning pastry chef who came home to Lewiston to open her dream bakery, and the two ran it together until 2001. That year Bridget Schroeder took over and moved it to its current home at 417 Center Street. In 2011 the Schroeders retired and sold it to Michael Fiore and his family.
The Bake Shoppe has made desserts for some big nights in Niagara Falls, including a "barrel over the falls" cake for the Hard Rock Cafe's grand opening and a chicken wing cake for the Anchor Bar's downtown opening in 2017. Its desserts are also served at restaurants around the area, including the Red Coach Inn and The Griffon Gastropub.
